Rachel Dunham (1983—2008) was Fringe Division agent Olivia Dunham (Alternate Universe)'s younger sister and the mother of a stillborn child.
Both she and her child died of VPE. This affected Olivia greatly when she discovered she was pregnant with Henry Dunham in the Original Timeline.
The death of Rachel also profoundly affected her mother, Marilyn. A photo of Rachel and her partner (possibly Alternate Greg) appears in Season 3's Olivia episode, as well as other photos of a younger version of the character.

Rachel is the youngest daughter of Marilyn Dunham. She was born around four years after her older sister, Olivia. Unlike her counterpart, she never had an abusive stepfather.
Season Two[]
After Olivia Dunham from the Prime Universe pointed a gun at her doppelgänger—Rachel's sister—several years after her death, the Alternate Olivia confided in her that she lost her sister during childbirth. The prime version of Olivia admitted her Rachel had a daughter, Ella who was seven. ("Over There: Part 1")
Season Three[]
A photo of a younger Marilyn with one of her daughters as a baby is shown. This child may be Rachel. ("Olivia") When she believes she is her counterpart, Olivia recalls fighting with Rachel all the time and her death several years prior. ("The Plateau")
Marilyn attempted to reassure a pregnant Olivia that despite the likelihood, she may not be a carrier for VPE, a mysterious illness unique to the Alternate Universe. After an accelerated pregnancy, Olivia gave birth to Rachel's nephew, Henry. ("Bloodline")
The Other Side was destroyed due to the Vacuum sucking the other side into a black hole, causing Rachel's loved ones and billions of others to perish. ("The Day We Died")

September altered the course of history by allowing the drowning of Peter Bishop from the Alternate Universe as a boy at Reiden Lake. ("Novation") As a result, Rachel's nephew no longer exists.
Alternate Universe[]
Rachel Blake is the still-living wife of Greg, mother of Ella and Eddie Blake, aunt of Henrietta, and younger sister of Olivia Dunham. However, the Prime Rachel lost her mother as a child, while Rachel in the Alternate Universe had a happy upbringing with her mother involved.
