Jasika Nicole is an American actress who plays Astrid Farnsworth and Astrid Farnsworth (Alternate Universe). Born in Alabama, she attended college in North Carolina to study dance, voice and studio art, before moving to New York to pursue her career.
In addition to Fringe she has appeared as Egypt in Take the Lead (2006) and Wendy in She's Out of My League (2010). She has also made guest appearances on Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2005) and The Return of Jezebel James (2008).
More recently she has a regular role on The Good Doctor.
