"Unearthed" is actually a holdover, standalone episode produced during Season 1. It didn't air until during Season 2, where it aired as a special episode on a special night (Monday), I believe right after the Christmas break (or perhaps before. Not sure.) It was poorly advertised as being an unaired episode and it confused a LOT of people. Regardless, it is not included as Episode 11 on the Season 2 box set, but is actually packaged as a Special Feature on Disc 6. Fringe Wiki lists it on the Season 1 page under its own heading. The official production code for it is 1x21. That's just a PRODUCTION code since the episode was filmed after the season 1 finale with the intent of airing it sometime during Season 2. Because of that production code, Netflix lists the episode on its Streaming as Episode 21 of Season 1, which is ALSO confusing.
So basically, Unearthed is the black sheep of the Fringe family and no one really knows where it falls chronologically. Sometimes I wish they just never aired it (it wasn't even that good to be honest.)
Thanks for this.. cleared up my confusion!
totally same problem :D just couldn't believe they would make such a flaw :D
thank youz
